A new sulfate-based bowel prep safely and effectively cleanses the colon and is more pleasant for patients than conventional preps, researchers reported at the 2020 virtual meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology.
The product, Sutab, was approved in early November by the FDA and is marketed by Sebela Pharmaceuticals, a division of Braintree Laboratories.
