Hand-Held Stimulator Shows Promise in Gastroparesis

A hand-held device that delivers transcutaneous vagal nerve stimulation provides short-term relief of symptoms and accelerates gastric emptying in patients with idiopathic gastroparesis, according to a small pilot study.
