To Treat or Not to Treat? New Diagnostic Tool for Managing Traveler’s Diarrhea

A new severity classification tool for diarrhea may help identify which patients will benefit from antibiotic treatment for the condition. Using the new ranking, researchers found patients with severe cases were more responsive to rifamycin (Aemcolo, RedHill Biopharma) than those with moderate bouts.
