Low-Risk Adenomas May Equal ‘Average’ Risk for Cancer

San Diego—People with low-risk adenomas (LRAs) on screening colonoscopy can be considered at average risk for malignancies and therefore may not need more intensive colonoscopic surveillance, Canadian researchers have found.
