Baltimore—Endoscopic gastrojejunal revision surgery is a safe, effective and feasible option to treat symptoms in patients who experience dumping syndrome following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, according to Swiss researchers.
In a retrospective study of 40 patients with dumping syndrome treated with EGJR, the procedure reduced symptoms in about 85% of patients with no complications recorded within 30 days, first author Catherine Tsai, MD, a research fellow with Clinic
