HCV, Race and IV Drug Use Raise Syphilis Risk for Women

According to a new study, being black, IV drug use and infection with the hepatitis C virus (HCV) each increased the risk for syphilis in women with HIV by twofold, and these women should be tested regularly for the disease. The results were presented at CROI 2019
