Modernize Stark Law to Allow Independent Gastros To Succeed Under MACRA

Almost three years ago, Congress passed the bipartisan Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), establishing new physician payment structures meant to support our health care system’s transition from fee-for-service medicine to value-based care. That legislation had broad support from the physician community, because we know that
