The Scope: Providing Care and Community for Patients With Lynch Syndrome

While previously considered rare, new data shows that 1 in 300 people in the United States carry the genes for Lynch Syndrome. That’s according to Sapna Syngal, MD, MPH, a gastroenterologist at Harvard Medical School and the founder of the new Lynch Syndrome Center at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in Boston.

In this episode of The Scope, managing editor Adam Marcus speaks with Dr. Syngal about her work creating the first-of-its-kind Lynch Syndrome Center.
