Ergonomic Training Needed, But not Available, for Endoscopists

Video-based training to prevent injury is an effective but underused means of reducing ergonomic injuries among endoscopists, new research suggests.

According to a study presented at the 2016 Digestive Disease Week (abstract Sa1228), the prevalence of musculoskeletal injury among endoscopists is high, with some surveys putting the incidence at nearly 90%.
