Use of TXI™ Technology (Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging) to Enhance Visibility and Optimize Adenoma Detection Rate
This article describes TXI™ technology, one of several imaging modes on the Olympus EVIS X1™ endoscopy system, and its application to improve visibility of the colonic mucosa, optimize the detection of neoplastic lesions compared with white light, and enhance the quality of colonoscopy to increase adenoma detection rate and potentially reduce the risk for cancer.
