LAS VEGAS—Depression is a strong predictor of fatigue in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, according to a new study presented at the 2024 annual Crohn’s & Colitis Congress.
Fatigue often goes under-recognized and undertreated by providers, even though it is one of the most common debilitating symptoms reported by patients with IBD, said lead researcher Brooke Duarte, MS, a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at Suffolk University, in Boston, and
