Large Study Indicates Antibiotics No Help For Moderate, Severe Colon Ischemia

Antibiotics have no significant advantage for patients with moderate to severe colon ischemia, according to a large retrospective cohort analysis. The study looked at a variety of end points, ranging from recurrence to mortality and across a spectrum of disease severity.
