Gastric Bypass Linked to Younger Onset of Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis

Undergoing bariatric surgery—particularly gastric bypass surgery—is associated with earlier development of severe alcoholic hepatitis, according to a study presented at the 2022 International Liver Congress of the European Association for the Study of the Liver.
