Statins Show Promise for Advanced Liver Failure and Cirrhosis

Statins showed potential benefits in advanced chronic liver disease, preserving hepatic function and reducing shunting and the development of acute-on-chronic liver failure during two retrospective studies presented at the 2021 Liver Meeting.
