Cadaver Experience Boosts Key GI Skills

Using fresh frozen cadavers for endoscopy may help trainees sharpen their hemostasis skills, a new study shows.

The four first-year gastroenterology fellows who participated in the study said their level of comfort with hemostasis techniques had increased after they had completed a training involving cadavers.
