FDA Issues New Boxed Warning for Xeljanz, Xeljanz XR

The FDA has approved new boxed warnings about an increased risk for thrombosis and of death associated with the 10-mg twice-daily dose of tofacitinib (Xeljanz, Xeljanz XR, Pfizer), according to the FDA.
