The FDA recently authorized marketing for the CORIS system, an endoscope channel cleaner that uses a proprietary agent to clean channels in the Olympus EVIS EXERA III CF-HQ190L colonovideoscope.
The system’s manufacturer, Nanosonics, announced that it plans to begin marketing the product in the first quarter of 2026.
“The automated system delivers the cleaning agent to all channels, which are then rinsed and purged with air,” the FDA wrote in its March 21 roundup.
