FDA Okays Olympus TJF-Q190V Scope With Disposable Features

Olympus has received FDA clearance for its TJF-Q190V duodenoscope, which the company says will streamline reprocessing of the instruments. The sterile, disposable distal end cap and proprietary flushing adapter on the TJF-Q190V are “innovative features designed to improve cleaning and reprocessing, which are based on findings of human factors studies,” Olympus said in a statement.
