A treatment previously used for benign tracheal strictures and stenoses, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen has now been successfully employed to treat a recurrent, benign esophagogastric anastomotic stricture, according to research presented at the 2019 annual meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology.
