Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News Special Edition, now in its fifth volume, is published annually as a supplement to Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News. Each issue is a collection of comprehensive clinical review articles written by recognized experts in gastroenterology and hepatology. In 2007, for the first time, Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News Special Edition was published as a journal-sized supplement to its tabloid-sized counterpart.

Managing Editor
Cindy has been managing the editorial aspects of Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News since January 2004. Prior to becoming the managing editor of Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News, Cindy gained several years of publishing experience at McMahon Group as an associate editor of Anesthesiology News and CNS News and as managing editor of CNS Senior Care and CNS Special Projects.
Cindy earned her Ph.D. in molecular oncology and immunology from New York University in September 2003. She conducted research for her thesis at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center in New York City, where she considered the role of chemokines and their derivatives in the replication of HIV.
Sandhya George
Associate Editor
Sandhya joined Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News as its associate editor in November 2006. Previously, she was a member of the editorial team of McMahon Group’s Anesthesiology News and Pain Medicine News.
Before entering the world of publishing, Sandhya spent several years as a research assistant working on studies of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. |
