In preliminary results from a large prospective trial, Mayo Clinic investigators found that endobronchial ultrasound-fine needle aspiration (EBUS-FNA) combined with standard endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-FNA has a per-lymph node sensitivity of 93% for detecting metastases and a specificity of 100%. read more
