The rate of colorectal cancer in adults older than 50 years of age has decreased steadily in recent years, thanks to nationwide efforts to promote earlier screening for the disease. More Americans in their 20s and 30s are being diagnosed with colorectal cancer, even as the incidence of the disease is falling among older generations, new data show.
The study analyzed the incidence of colorectal cancer over a 40-year period and found that while CRC decreased in adults over 50, the rate
