The U.S. Congress is considering an overhaul of the Stark Law, which, among other things, attempts to prevent physicians from profiting off of patient referrals to themselves. Earlier this year, the Digestive Health Physicians Association (DHPA; www.dhpassociation.org) wrote a letter to lawmakers outlining its vision of an updated Stark.
